Cate from Queen B has just sent this little but important hint through to me about my grouping of pillar candles for the Christmas table - it’s worth noting it if you too plan to do something similar -
Just a quick note - when you are grouping candles of different heights, you need to leave at least 3cm (about 3 fingers width) between them otherwise the heat of the flame from the shorter candles can melt a hole in the side of the taller candles, causing them to drip… and we don’t want unnecessary dripping!
