You may remember my post telling you that Jamie Oliver is the winner of the TED Prize for 2010. Each year the recipient is invited to make a wish which is then supported by TED to become a reality. As you can imagine, Jamie’s wish has to do with food -
I wish for your help to create a strong, sustainable movement to educate every child about food, inspire families to cook again and empower people everywhere to fight obesity.
Take a moment to read more about Jamie’s wish and do try to watch the video of his speech It’s an entertaining 20 minutes. Jamie’s infectious boyish enthusiasm is there in spades, minus the usual ingredients and recipe. He’s making a passionate plea for all of us to start making a difference to what we, and those dear to us, eat. It’s evangelism of a different kind.
