Hello, I’m Patrice.
I’ve always loved gathering information that I find useful, stimulating and inspiring. I have many notebooks that I’ve kept over the years that record, almost like a trail of breadcrumbs, the many things that have caught my eye … recipes, women’s stories, health articles, places to visit, shops to seek out - there really was no end to it all.
I think many other women document what captures their creativity too - little jottings and notes left here and there. It sustains us and helps us feel engaged with all the big and little issues that affect our lives, our families and our world. And we love to share it amongst our friends!
Somewhat belatedly, I discovered the Internet. What an amazing resource capable of helping me do all of the above, I thought! But when I started searching I found the whole online experience daunting and very frustrating. There was just too much irrelevant information to sort through and the look and feel of most websites left me feeling detached. So much of my time was consumed flitting from one site to another that I soon began feeling unsatisfied by the whole online experience.
I finally recognized that what I was really looking for was a website that I could trust to do a lot of the gathering for me. I wanted, no needed, this website to be informative and relevant, stimulating and inspiring. Above all I was looking for a certain personal style that made me feel as if I belonged - just like catching up on the latest news with a group of friends over a cup of tea rather than in a vacuum on the world wide web.
I couldn’t find such a website. So, I set myself the challenge of creating one and here it is. I hope you find womensnook.com an online home to enjoy whenever you have a moment.
Thank you for coming to womensnook.com.
